Classes

Here you will find information about which class your team belongs to.


F. Track & Field clubs
(All clubs must be members of the Norwegian Athletics Federation, with the exception specified below under F3 and F8)

F1: Men Elite (Up to 18 Norwegian teams)
F2: Men Senior (other teams)
F3: Men Junior (born 1997 to 2004) class is also open to teams from primary and secondary schools and teams affiliated with any sports associations in NIF.
F4: Men Veteran (born in 1984 or earlier)
F5: Men Super Veteran (born in 1974 or earlier)
F6: Women Elite (up to 18 Norwegian team)
F7: Women Senior (other teams)
F8: Women Junior (born 1997 to 2004) class is also open to teams from primary and secondary schools and teams affiliated with any sports associations in NIF.
F9: Women Veteran (born in 1984 or earlier)
F10: Women Super Veteran (born in 1974 or earlier)

B. Companies
(All participant must be employed and do their daily work in the company or another company within the same group.)

B1: Men (active athletes under 30 years of age can not be used)
B2: Men Veteran (born in 1989 or earlier)
B4: Women (active athletes under 30 years of age can not be used)
B5: Women Veteran (born in 1989 or earlier

M. Military
M1: Military teams Mix (participants may be of both sexes)

S. Students
(Eligible participants are students at universities and colleges)

S1: Men Students
S2: Women Students

A. Other teams – Open Class (Both mixed, men’s and ladies’ team are permitted)
A1: Other teams (majority of men)
A1-B: “The construction industry for the Cancer Society” (majority of men)
A2: Other teams  (majority of women)
A2-B: “The construction industry for the Cancer Society” (majority of women)
A3: Teams with membership in other national federations in NIF (incl. Norway Studentidrettsforbund)
A4: Class for 55+ (teams can be mixed or “pure” team. Born in 1964 or earlier)
A6: Nonprofit organizations (nonprofit organizations who make teams from their own organization or “super teams” with celebrities, etc.)

FH. Disabled: Teams with participants who have some degree of disability. Here it is also possible to run with a companion if it is desired. We would also like wheelchairs welcome in this class, but does not allow the use of wheelchairs on these stages due to security reasons:

Leg 8: Besserud – Gressbanen
Leg 9: Gressbanen – Holmendammen
Leg 10: Holmendammen – Frognerparken
Leg 11: Frognerparken – Nordraaks street
We also request that it take into account other participants if you use spikes. Exchange fields are narrow and densely populated. We ask you therefore to put away the spikes 50 meters before the exchange zone.
